Community Education: Air Matters: Radon & The Environment
Join us during Radon Awareness Month on January 15 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. for Air Matters: Radon & the Environment. This free virtual educational event will explore the connections between radon, lung health, and the broader impacts of climate change. The session will feature Phillip Gibson, MS, North Carolina Radon Program Coordinator; Joan H. Schiller, MD, Oncology Advocates United for Climate and Health-International; and Keith Bamberger, MPA, Environmental Education Specialist with the NC Division of Air Quality. Learn how radon and environmental factors, including climate change, can impact your health, and find out what actions you can take to protect your home and lungs.
