Even the clinicians most devoted to cutting edge practice are challenged to implement immediate changes due to the volume of information released. This activity seeks to distill the most actionable thoracic oncology results to enable providers to improve treatment and care of lung cancer patients.

Updates from ASCO, World Lung and Beyond (November/Day and Location TBD) – ASCO and World Lung are the largest lung cancer conferences presenting results of major trials intended to change physician practice. The collective findings presented at these conferences dictate the direction and implementation of lung cancer treatments around the world.
Primary Care Webinar
On March 9, 2021, the USPSTF issued a final recommendation statement for lung cancer screening based on new evidence. The new recommendation will help many more people get screened for lung cancer including those who are younger and have smoked less. This education will provide the current USPSTF recommendation as well as the evidence supporting the recommendation and harms and benefits of screening.
