Hannah Enck- Undergraduate Special Events Intern

My name is Hannah Enck and I am a rising sophomore at Elon University. I am double majoring in public health and statistics, and really enjoy learning more about both of those fields. Looking into the future, I hope to have a career that incorporates both public health and statistics, for example, analyzing medical data. I look forward to gaining more knowledge and experience and working with others who have a similar passion.

Daniel Zhong- Undergraduate Public Health Intern

I am a rising junior attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am majoring in biostatistics at the Gillings School of Global Public Health with a prospective minor in business and data science. Regarding my career goals, I am looking to go into either financial healthcare or the technology/research industry. I am also heavily considering graduate education after more working experience. I am passionate about supporting lung cancer survivors and improving the research and awareness of lung cancer due to having family and friends impacted by cancer. In my free time, I love to go rock climbing at local climbing gyms, cook, and read new books.

Alanis Menezes- Junior High School Volunteer

My name is Alanis and in the fall I will be a sophomore at Enloe High School. At school, I am in a medical bioscience program because I want to work in the medical field, more specifically in oncology. I love working with the LCI team and I’m excited to spend my summer with them!

Alexander Ke- Undergraduate Public Health Intern

Hey guys! My name is Alex and I’m a rising senior at UNC Chapel hill. My major is exercise and sports science and I’m currently exploring a few career choices, mainly either in physical therapy or the public health field.

Lauren Hamm- Undergraduate Marketing Intern

I am a rising junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in psychology and medical anthropology with a minor in food science. I hope to pursue a career in healthcare administration. I am so ecstatic to be working with LCI this summer as I am very interested in learning more about the behind-the-scenes of a non-profit. As a Raleigh native, I have seen the impact that LCI has left on the triangle and I cannot wait to help foster even more growth.
