A Time of Remembrance and Reflection

We gather together as a community of hope and support to honor and remember those we have lost. We invite anyone in our network who has lost a loved one (whether or not from lung cancer ) to join us on May 22, 2024, from 6-7 p.m. at Transitions LifeCare for a Time of Remembrance and Reflection. Together we will honor and remember individuals that we have lost, but who remain in our hearts forever. Whether it’s been recent or many years, they will not be forgotten. We will have a meaningful program of remembrance followed by a time of reflection including a moment of silence and remembering loved ones at the Cosmic Post in Transitions memory gardens.   

We welcome you to write a letter to your loved one to be released by the Cosmic Post that evening. The Cosmic Post is a means to symbolically send letters to a loved one or to release emotions by burning the paper where the thoughts had been written. The letter will be burned and released into the universe, so please make a copy of your letter if you would like to keep it.

If you are unable to attend, feel free to take a moment at this time, on this date to honor your loved one. We also welcome you to write a letter and mail it to us to participate in the cosmic post.
