Bridging the Screening Gap, Together Webinar

A Four-State Partnership Webinar

Lung screening looks different depending on where you practice — and there’s a lot we can learn from each other across state lines.

This webinar brings together three organizations working across four states — Lung Cancer Initiative (North & South Carolina), End Lung Cancer Now (Indiana), and A Breath of Hope (Minnesota) — for a practical conversation on the state of lung cancer screening.

Panelists will take a clinical look at where things stand: provider awareness of eligibility criteria, LDCT program availability, and screening rates across each state. From there, the conversation turns to the barriers providers face day-to-day — shared decision-making documentation burden, referral workflow gaps, insurance and reimbursement friction, patient follow-through, and access in rural areas or to specialists — and spotlights the strategies and partnerships helping move screening forward.

No single state or organization closes the screening gap alone. When providers across regions share what’s actually working, progress moves faster — that’s the idea behind bringing these three organizations to the same conversation.
