Lung Cancer Initiative New Board Member, Dr. Bradley Icard

Lung Cancer Initiative Names New Board Member 

Raleigh, NC, April 3, 2024 – Lung Cancer Initiative (LCI) is pleased to welcome Bradley Icard, DO, pulmonologist with LeBauer Pulmonary of Cone Health Medical Group to the Board of Directors. 

“We are honored to have Dr. Icard join the leadership of our organization,” said Amy Cipau, president and founder of LCI. “His passionate advocacy for his patients and lung cancer screening and his perspectives on the needs of the Triad community will be so valuable in helping us to expand our impact.”

Dr. Icard is board certified in internal, pulmonary and critical care medicine and his professional interests include lung cancer staging, bronchoscopy, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and critical care. 

“I am excited to serve on the Board of Directors for LCI as we help our communities advocate for lung cancer screening, ongoing patient support, and a better future for individuals affected by lung cancer,” said Dr. Icard.

Named LCI’s 2023 Healthcare Provider of the Year, Dr. Icard is a strong advocate for lung cancer screening and awareness and has been a speaker for LCI’s Advocacy Summit and the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians Winter Conference.  Dr. Icard was also recently named a member of the Advocacy Committee as a part of the Society for Advanced Bronchoscopy.
