Survivor Engagement Event

Keith Bamberger, Specialist, with the NC Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Air Quality will be our guest presenter at the Feb. virtual luncheon.

In Jan, we offered, Air Matters as a community education program filled with information and education on important air quality issues.

We will follow up the “Air Matters” presentation with a more in-depth look at what individuals can do to protect their own health, be a part of solutions to our air quality challenges and possibly save a little money. Keith will share some of the on-line tools and resources on how to look up air quality forecasts, understand exactly what forecasts mean, and how to make good decisions on when to be outside without compromising lung health.
