LCI Run/Walk Events

LCI hosts five annual Run/Walk events throughout North Carolina, including:

  • Four LUNGe Forward Run/Walks, located in the Triangle (Raleigh/Durham/ Chapel Hill), Triad (Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point), Charlotte, and Greenville.
  • The Jodi 5K Run & Walk in Durham, NC.

These events provide a day of hope, survivor celebration, remembrance of those lost, as well as an opportunity to take action for those impacted by lung cancer.

Proceeds benefit LCI and the lung cancer survivors, caregivers, health care providers and researchers we serve.

 

Each event includes a Run/Walk (may vary in distance by location), celebration rally, a kids’ zone, refreshments, snacks and a variety of activities for the entire family. We invite you to join with community leaders and individuals in participating in this event. There are several ways to get involved with our Run/Walks and support LCI!

  • Sponsor a team
  • Join a team
  • Donate to a team, individual or the event
  • Participate as an event sponsor
  • Join one of the Run/Walk committees
  • Volunteer on the day of the event
