Keith Bamberger has been working in air quality education and outreach for the North Carolina Division of Air Quality for over 20 years. During that time, we have gone from days when the mountains would disappear in a white air pollution haze for weeks at a time, to summers when the mountain vistas are clear almost every day. In August NC celebrated ten years of clean air, but what does that mean to individuals? We will look at what clean air is, how we keep it clean, and both how to know when the air is not clean, and what to do to protect your own health. The presentation will include sharing resources as well as a question-and-answer opportunity.
